Many people have reportedly lost their lives over the last two months from the hospital after nurses absconded from their duties for three weeks.

According to governor Mutua, complaints on the uncondusive environment for patients was received in his office towards the end of March driving him to take immediate action and visit the hospital.

"I am not pleased by the fact that the hospital head and other workers did not notify me on time hence I will be forced to strictly deal with hospital heads," said Mutua.

He promised to ensure that everything gets back to normal within the shortest time possible.

He also said that malfunctioning machines will be replaced in three weeks time and condemned all workers who claimed of having not received their salaries citing that all workers employed through right procedures received their salaries.
