An aspiring MCA for Magenche ward Patrick Raing’a has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of sleeping on his job.
According to Riang’a the current escalating corruption scandals needs to be addressed urgently and yet the president is not speaking on the matter which is of public interest.
“We now want him to wake up from slumber and report to his duties by ensuring that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EAAC) works effectively to bring those involved in any scandal to book,” he added.
He added that the Kenyans voted for Uhuru because they knew he was able to deliver his key mandate of which he has failed hence the public has continues to lose billions of shillings.
Speaking at Magenche shopping center on Wednesday Riang’a called upon various bodies to ensure that they help the president in identifying the ‘architectures’ of corruption so that they can be arrested and arraigned in court.
“If the president doesn’t improve the status of the country we have no option but vote him out come 2017 as Kenyans and usher in new leadership," said Riang'a.
