Malava Member of Parliament Injendi Malulu could be the first lawmaker to lose his seat for supporting Jubilee.

This is after the party he used to seek current seat, Maendeleo Democratic Party (MDP) wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, asking him to declare the seat vacant, immediately.

Malulu declared his support for Jubilee, saying he would defend his seat on the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led party.

If his position is declared vacant and a by-election held, the lawmaker is likely to lose his seat. This is because his Constituency is seen as an Opposition zone, with a huge number of electorates supporting the ODM party.
