This comes at the wake of time when the Education PS, Belio Kipsang assured the pupils that the Jubilee laptops will be given to them in June this year.

Kipsang further confirmed that the phase on the roll out in the 150 schools across the country was just an introductory plan, a statement that was also echoed by the director general in the Education ministry, Leah Rotich.

“We are very devoted to ensuring all the remaining over twenty-two thousand primary schools across the counties are issued with the technological devices by June this year,” she stated.

The director also affirmed the ministry's position of realigning the new curriculum with the society's needs at the expense of the exam oriented model that is currently on offer.

Pupils in the various primary schools in the slum are now waiting on the promised month of June to get a feel of the laptops that has already been availed to a number of their counterparts in some few selected schools.
