Two Kenya Power employees were on Sunday evening electrocuted in Nakuru town.
The two sustained serious burns when the power was allegedly switched on while working up on an electric post.
Although there have been rumours that the electricians had died, Kenya Power has since dismissed the claims saying the two are in stable condition.
Kenya Power general manager of Network Management Eng Daniel Tare said the two who were contracted by the company, sustained burns as they were installing a meter during the Sunday incident.
He added that the two technicians were installing a large power outdoor meter when power was switched on while they were up the pole resulting in the mishap.
He added that the two were, however, rushed to Provincial General Hospital Nakuru where they are recuperating.
"They are in a stable condition and communicating. It was not fatal as reported in social media platforms," he said.
He added that investigations are underway to establish the cause of the incident.
