The outgoing secretary General of council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) has hit back at Harambee stars coach as indisciplined and worst performed coach in the tournament.
This comes after the former Mathare and Tusker tactician complained about poor organization of the tournament 2019 in Uganda.
Kimanzi had earlier raised concerns about the state of the pitch which had artificial turf contrary to FIFA rules.
The coach had also complained about the traffic jams they were caught when heading to match venues.
Nicholas Musonye went ahead to retaliate at Kimanzi that he has never won CECAFA since 2009 and he should not blame the committee for his misfortunes.
“Kimanzi has never won Cecafa since 2009 and he should not blame us (Cecafa Secretariat) for his misfortunes and incompetence as a coach. He has a record of being indisciplined. As a matter of fact, he is one of the poorest performing coaches in Cecafa,” Musonye told the press.
“If he is as good as he wants people to believe then he should have won the tournament. He lost fair and square to Eritrea and he should not blame the organisation for failing to defend the title,” he added.
