Haji has now asked the High Court to compel the governors to vacate their office until their names are cleared of any graft related charges.

Sunday Nation has found out that Haji wants the terms of bail for Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong reviewed with immediate effect.

Haji argues that it is in the interest of the public that the governor’s step aside to pave way for the probing to take place before the truth is established.

The move comes after Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu was barred from attending office over the alleged loss of funds in the county government.

Haji, however, remained coy after being approached over the matter. He insists that this is his secret card, adding that it is likely to distort the initial plan at the end of the day if it is not handled carefully.

“That is my secret. If I tell you, those people will start scheming against us,” he said, as quoted by Daily Nation.

The new development comes at a time when DPP Haji has declared war on the Big Fish. The DPP has warned Kenyans against engaging in corruption-related activities.
