Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir has rallied bodaboda riders in the constituency to mobilize residents to register as voters in large numbers.
Nassir said the best the opposition can do is to mobilize supporters to register.
He expressed confidence that the opposition will win the August poll.
"I met bodaboda riders and tuktuk operators together with their leaders with the aim of sensitizing them on their constitutional duty of registering to vote and voting," he said.
"I also met the representatives and leaders of Matatu cooperatives at the County Inspectorate headquarters in Mombasa. I called on them to sensitize their members to take advantage of the second and final mass registration window to get their voters cards.?
The IEBC on Monday launched the mass voter registration exercise- the last as the country prepares for the August elections.
ODM leader Raila Odinga, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto are currently on a countrywide tour sensitizing Kenyans on the importance of the exercise.
