The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant who lives in Canada has been very vocal on local issues and is known for his scathing attacks.

Similarly, he had also been attacking local politicians, especially the leading ones, accusing them of a range of allegations and questioning their moves.

In a Facebook post on Friday,  Miguna said that he is not after any political position but justice for Kenyans and a merit-based republic.

He added that the remaining goal is a society governed by the rule of law, without any other hidden goals.

"We are not struggling for positions. Holding public office in an unjust and brutal society like Kenya is not our agenda. We want freedom and justice for all Kenyans-unconditionally. Out end game is a merit-based society governed by the rule of law. Nothing else," he said.

Miguna has also been attacking a section of  Kenyans who he thinks are blindly following their political leaders.

He remains exiled in Canada since February last year, after participating in the mock presidential inauguration of ODM leader Raila Odinga.
