Bishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba of Catholic Diocese of Nakuru has called upon the society to stop neglecting the less fortunate in society.
He was speaking on Friday during a special thanksgiving mass for Women of Destiny, a reformed group of women who were sex workers as well as drug addicts.
The Bishop reitariated that every human being is valuable and should be respected.
He said Jesus Christ came for all and there should be no discrimination against anyone.
"We are one by grace and unity of God through Jesus Christ and therefore there is need for us to respect each other in the society,"he said.
Bishop Muhatia also called on the Government to ensure support for reformed groups in society.
According to the clergy there are many reformed groups in society that needs to be supported and empowered.
His sentiments were echoed by chair Grassroot Women Empowerment Grace Kibuku.
Kibuku who also attended the mass called on the Government to have mechanisms of supporting reformed groups in society.
The special mass was also attended by Mwangaza Street children Reformed group in Nakuru.
