ODM leader Raila Odinga’s woes seem to be far from over after one of his loyal lieutenants disparaged his call for a uniform vote in ODM.
In his tirade, Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale dismissed Raila’s call that voters support ODM candidates for all the six contest positions.
“In the governorship, senatorial, parliamentary, and MCA positions, we will vote for Ford Kenya candidates,” said Khalwale as quoted by Citizen Digital.
Showing his support for Cord co-principal Moses Wetangula, Khalwale said, “I want to tell your partner and my friend that he is talking to himself. Our people, especially here in Kakamega, will vote for a Cord candidate in the presidential election – and we want that to be you (Moses Wetangula).”
He praised Wetangula’s leadership saying he does his best to give opportunities to the Luhya community.
Khalwale asked the Luhya community to unite, saying it is the only way they can claim a stake in Cord.
