President Uhuru Kenyatta Thursday launched managed equipment Services (MES) at the Nakuru Level 5 Hospital.

In his second day of development tour in the county, the President, accompanied by his deputy, William Ruto, Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and other leaders gave residents a reason to smile as health services in the facility are set to improve drastically.

The state-of-the-art medical equipment will enable better service delivery, access to affordable medical care and reliability, has been made possible through the partnership between the national and county government.

“I want to thank the President for his good work that will go a long way in offering the best medical services to the people of Nakuru. We will continue to bring more development projects closer to the people because that is the core mandate for which you elected us. We are going to launch other projects including roads, water and others. The county government has and continues to prioritise promotion of high quality and affordable health care services for its people. It’s through such noble partnerships that we will guarantee and ensure access to proper health services by all,” Kinuthia said.
