Segor said the government is undertaking four water projects in Bomet and Narok and they are at an implementation stage only meaning the people will get the water as soon as possible.

The projects, Mulot-Bomet water and sanitation project and Loigorian water and sanitation all valued at Sh1.5 billion will go a long way in ensuring water shortage in the areas is brought to an end.

"The government is doing all it can to ensure it improves the livelihoods of people both in Bomet and Narok counties. This will improve sanitation even in Bomet County which has been facing sanitation problems," Segor told the Star.

Segor also gave an insight into the support being given by African Development Bank to Narok Sewerage project valued at Sh1.6 billion.

Segor said the projects will go a long way in ensuring that Mara River Basin is protected from destruction due to the effluents being emitted into the river.
