Thirdway Alliance Kenya party leaders Ekuru Aukot has now come out to send a message to top Kenyan leaders after garnering 1 million signatures in his bid to make constitutional amendments.
Speaking on Friday, Mr Aukot asked President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga among other top leaders to come out and publicly support his initiative.
"We also want to invite the top leadership of this country, we are inviting President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy President William Ruto, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and other elected leaders to publicly support this initiate,” he said.
Mr Aukot further revealed why President Uhuru must at all costs support his initiative.
"Look no further for any legacy. If you support this bill, you will be fighting thieves of public money, you will easily achieve the big four agenda,” he added.
The former presidential candidate noted that the bill will spa economic growth and development which will help raise money to repay Kenya’s debts.
More so, he adds that some other money will be used to settle doctors, nurses and teachers who are constantly striking.
His initiative if passed will help the country to save up to 3.78 trillion.
