Speaking at Pioneer AIC Church in Eldoret on Sunday, Ruto said the fact that Raila was missing during the launch shows he was responsible.

"ODM has been known to be a party of chaos, hooligans and violence and only a fool can be told that Raila did not have a hand in it," he said.

The DP said instead of him standing with his co-principal, he (Raila) flew to Tanzania.

He said Raila's absence was a clear indication he was aware of the chaos.

"We don't want innocent people to be injured and lose lives in the name of politics, Raila should take responsibility of what happened at Masinde Muliro Gardens during the weekend," he said.

He urged opposition leaders to stop condemning the government every time, but instead come up with solutions to problems facing Kenyans.
