Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has said that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) is unstoppable.
In a tweet on Sunday, Ngilu said that the train to popularize the BBI report has left the station, adding that nothing will block it.
According to the county boss, the BBI's time has come.
"I joined Rt. Hon @RailaOdinga and other leaders, hosted by Kakamega Governor H.E @GovWOparanya for the Western Kenya BBI meeting. The BBI train has left the station and it’s unstoppable. Nobody can stop an idea who’s time has come. #KakamegahostBBI," she tweeted.
On her part, her Kirinyaga Counterpart Anne Waiguru said that all governors from the Mt Kenya region are behind the report.
She said that the handshake between President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga has transformed many things in the country, adding that the future is bright with BBI.
"We as governors of Mt. Kenya region agree that the future is BBI and we must be part of it. It was agreed that I would represent the region at the national steering comm tasked with BBI coordination. My colleague H.E Wa Iria will lead the regional BBI comm," Waiguru said in a tweet.
