President Uhuru Kenyatta is this Wednesday in locked in a crisis meeting with doctor's union KMPPDU in a bid to end doctor's strike.

The deadlock between doctors and the government over salary increment has lasted over one month. 

State House Head of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi announced the meeting on Facebook.

The meeting that is taking place in State House Mombasa has in its attendance: Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, Health CS Cleopas Mailu, Health PS Nicholas Muraguri and Salaries and Remuneration Commission chairperson Sarah Serem.
