The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives have arrested three suspects over allegations of vandalising a stolen vehicle.
In a tweet on Thursday, the DCI noted that the three suspects were arrested over vandalism of a bus belonging to the Eastleigh commuters service.
"3 SUSPECTS were arrested yesterday by @DCI_Kenya Flying Squad Detectives at Sipili Town & arraigned in connection to a stolen M/vehicle KBA 272N belonging to #Eastleigh commuters. The three; Reuben MUEMA, Joseph KIHARA & Nicholas MWANGI were busted vandalising the stolen vehicle," wrote the DCI.
This comes at a time when the DCI has declared war against theft in the country.
In a previous Twitter post, the DCI revealed that their detectives had captured several cars stolen from other countries that are being driven on Kenyan roads.
"The @DCI_Kenya maintains that no one will steal from one country and enjoy the sweat of others while in another country," said DCI.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration has declared that no one will get away with any form of crime in the country.
Uhuru, who is on his second and last term in office has in the past termed corruption as the biggest threat to Kenya's economy.
