It is during this period that they are assimilated into the Kenyan economy and they begin to understand just how hard it is, a thought that should push them into venturing in some of the most basic income-generating activities.

Here are some of the activities that could earn them some money:

1. Online jobs

Why don't you use your writing skills to make some money? There are a number of platforms that pay people for just writing an article. Other platforms include academic writing, transcription among others.

2. Tutoring

This can be the best job for you because your brain is still fresh and you can recall everything you were taught while in school. You can couch primary and secondary students on the subjects that you are good at.

3. Sales and marketing

On this job, you are paid a commission for every sold item. Many companies are looking for form four leavers who have recently completed their studies to work with them in marketing their new products. 

However, this should be approached with caution given that it has more than once, led to the floodgates of fraudsters.
