In an interview on Wednesday, Kabogo pointed out that the president is under attack.

"The president is under a siege because the attacks are coming from a specific corner. However, he needs to defend himself," he said on KTN's Pointblank show.

He added that Uhuru's silence is being taken for weakness and is being maximized on by the attackers to trample on him, and there is a need for him to deal with the root of the problem.

"He is not weak, he is only friendly. But if he thinks there is a problem, he should not ask Sudi (Oscar) or Murkomen (Kipchumba), its Kenyatta and Ruto," he added.

The latest attack on Uhuru came last week when Murkomen, the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, questioned Uhuru's decision to cancel the Kimwarer dam project which is in his county.

Earlier in the year, Sudi attacked Uhuru over his closeness with Raila Odinga threatening to expose his (Raila's) alleged corrupt ways.

In response, Uhuru dared the MP to take his evidence to the DCI headquarters.

Uhuru has also been having it hard taming politicians from his Mt Kenya bedrock, some of whom have defied his orders and proceeded to endorse Ruto's 2022 presidential ambitions.
