Miguna was responding to a tweep only identified as Ishmael Langat who had argued that Kenyans would never get enough justice.

Langat alluded to the situation whereby Kenyan judges were fighting to get justice as a justification to his claims.

"Buy anyway we lost and buried justice long time ago.. it's unfortunate that even Judges themselves are pleading for justice," tweeted Langat.

However, Miguna took issue with Langat's sentiments which in his (Miguna's) opinion had indirectly undermined Kenya's judiciary.

The lawyer who was deported to Canada noted that the arm of the Kenyan government which had done an exemplary job in defending the constitution was the judiciary.

He cited an instance whereby the Supreme Court nullified the 2017 presidential elections and ordered for a repeat of the same as the best exemplification of a situation whereby the judiciary 'defended' the constitution.

"The @Kenyajudiciary has defended the Constitution more than any other institution or group in Kenya. The Judiciary nullified the 2017 election but Conman @RailaOdinga and many of you were too cowardly to act on their decisions, judgments, rulings and Orders!" said Miguna.

The former ODM leader Raila Odinga's chief advisor was deported to Canada in 2018. The High Court has ruled that he should be facilitated to come back to Kenya but the government is yet to implement the ruling.
