The meeting was made public following a tweet by the Nasa Coalition.

However, the two leaders did not disclose what they discussed during the meeting.

"H.E @RailaOdinga held talks with the acting Kiambu Governor Dr James Nyoro this afternoon before departing for Turkana to attend the county’s cultural festival," read the tweet by NASA Coalition.

Their meeting came hours after Raila held talks with retired President Daniel Arap Moi's daughter Doris Elizabeth Chepkorir Moi and her family.

On Wednesday, Raila also met President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister Kristina Pratt Kenyatta at his Capitol Hill Offices.

The African Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development has been meeting top leaders in the country in the recent past.

Raila agreed to work with President Kenyatta with the aim of restoring peace and unity in the country.

Their relationship blossomed following the famous March 9, 2018 handshake, which has seen Raila support President Kenyatta's initiatives.

It, however, remains unclear whether Raila will be on the ballot in the 2022 presidential elections.
