Speaking on Sunday at Nyamira central PAG church, Mogaka said the dismissal of Kenyan Commander of peacekeeping force in Sudan, Lieutenant General Johnson Ondieki, by the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon for allegedly failing to prevent civilian deaths, was an injustice to Kenyans.

“I support President Kenyatta's decision to sanction the withdrawal of our soldiers from South Sudan and those who have faulted the move have no vision for Kenyans,” said Mogaka.

“An injustice meted out to one Kenyan is an injustice to all Kenyans. As a lawyer, I fully support Kenyatta‘s move,” added Mogaka.

He said no one should criticise the move as the decision was reached at after consultations with various stakeholders in the country.

He called on churches to pray for the nation, as we approach the 2017 general election.

“We need prayers to save this country. I urge all churches to pray for this nation and its politicians, and for peace to prevail in the country,” said Mogaka.
