Canadian-based Kenyan lawyer Miguna Miguna now says that his rising influence and fearless opposition to ongoing atrocities in Kenya have instilled fear in the ruling class.
Miguna was deported to Canada in February last year, only days after swearing-in ODM leader Raila Odinga as the People's President in a mock event at Uhuru Park in Nairobi.
He now says that Raila later united with President Uhuru Kenyatta, both of whom he has been criticising, and pushed him out of Kenya for fear that he would take both of them head-on over governance issues.
In a tweet Friday, the ex-Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant claimed that the duo fears him to an extent that they do not feel safe with him around.
"We know that Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and The People's Con-Man Raila Odinga fear me like they fear death. They conspired against me because they knew I would publicly take them on together with their BBI HandChieth (handshake). Their time is coming. They will and must fall," he said.
He also bashed Raila for allegedly betraying his allies once he is done with them, wondering why most of them end up in hardship after associating with him.
He cited himself, Deputy President William Ruto and former Cabinet Minister Henry Kosgey.
"After Kibaki stole @RailaOdinga's victory and murdered his supporters, how come his ODM chairman Kosgey and Pentagon Member Ruto were charged at the ICC? b) After Miguna swore Raila-in on Jan. 30, 2018, why was he detained, tortured and exiled while Raila's loots with Uhuru?" he added.
