Ruto said each child should get education since it is free, and warned that parents who do not allow their children to go to school should face legal action.

"It is the right of every Kenyan child to get education. The main agenda of the Jubilee administration is to ensure the young generation gets good education for a better future,'' said Ruto.

He added that parents who believe in false education cultures should be sensitized on the importance of educating children in the society.

"Be it a boy or a girl, they are both entailed to get education. Cultures that restricts parents from educating female children in society should be tamed by all mean."

He was speaking at Mayuba Stadium, Sirisia Constituency, Bungoma County, Saturday.
