Four students allegedly involved in a school strike were on Wednesday arraigned before a Nakuru court and charged with malicious destruction of property.
The four who are students of Bahati PCEA in Nakuru North district were charged jointly committing the offence on June 21 that led to the destruction of property worth Sh200,000.
According to police, the students plans was botched by the police after the school administration informed them of the incident which took place on Tuesday.
The students pleaded not guilty to the charges and were later released on a bond of Sh50,000 with an alternative cash bail of Sh10,000.
Magistrate David Kemei directed the parents of the accused persons bring to court birth certificates so as to ascertain their age before proceeding with the case.
The matter was slated for August 17 for hearing.
