National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya has rubbished claims that he is dead.
In a tweet on Tuesday evening, the ailing firebrand lawyer confirmed that he is well.
"Contrary to fake news being perpetuated by agents of doom that I have passed away , I wish to confirm that am well and putting in a good fight to fully recover. Am safe under the care of competent medical doctors and I will be back stronger than before. #IWillovercome," said Magaya.
Magaya, who is in India for specialized medication suffered a heart attack early this year.
He has been in and out of hospital until recently when his health deteriorated and he was flown to India.
A source close to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga disclosed that he was concerned with Magaya's health that he ordered him to be taken to India for specialized treatment.
ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale through a post on social media warned Kenyans against spreading fake news concerning Magaya's health.
"As we continue praying for his full recovery, online mercenaries should stop being insensitive and desist from posting untruths about his condition," Etale's post read in part.
This is not the first time people on social media are 'killing' renowned personalities.
