Bongo star Ali Kiba has revealed how he manages to keep his family away from the limelight regardless of his fame.
Kiba who is married to a Kenyan woman from Mombasa County, Amina Khalef, is blessed with a son after about two years in marriage.
Unlike other Bongo stars, he has managed to keep his family away from the limelight.
He notes that he separates his family from celebrity status by living a real-life like any other citizen.
Speaking on Sunday with Swahilifilix, Kiba said he prefers living a normal life where everyone is free to mingle with him.
"It is because we live real life, I live just like you, I don't live like a star. If I choose to live like a star most of you will fear me, but I can live like a star (kwa sababu tunaishi maisha ambayo yako real, mimi naishi kama nyinyi mnavyo ishi, mimi siishi ki-star. Nikisema niishi ki-star mtaniogopa kwa sababu naeza kuishi ki-star)," said King Kiba after he was asked how he manages to separate family and his music and its fame.
He turned up for 'Sitabonga' movie launch that was organised by Swahilifilix.
