Speaking on Saturday at Sironga SDA church where he led other MPs for a fund drive in aid of the church's construction, Kemosi urged elected leaders and those who did not win in the last polls to join hands to serve the electorates.

"Politics based on political parties will hinder us from working for our people. I am urging elected leaders irrespective of the different political parties that sponsored them during the last polls to bring those who lost on board for the sake of streamlining service delivery to boost the living standards of the people," he noted.

The vocal legislator further warned that retrogressive politicians may find it hard to win political seats in the next general elections slated for 2022.

The Ford Kenya Party MP said current leaders from the Gusii community should work as a team without considering the parties which sponsored them during the 2017 polls.

"I appeal to my colleagues at the national assembly to put the interests of our people first failure to which 2022 will be tough to retain their seats," he noted.
