Willis Chimano, a member of Sauti Sol music group, has left fans wondering after stepping out in a controversial attire.

In an Instagram post, Chimano shared a photo of himself wearing a high-waist flare pant and a nose ring.

He seemed comfortable in the outfit, and made a number of poses

"The bigger the pants the “wider” the legroom!" Chimano captioned the photo.

His choice of dressing, however, elicited mixed reactions among his fans with some supporting him, while others criticised him.

Chimano is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies, and has been a key pillar in the band thanks to his great voice.

Before the formation of Sauti Sol, Chimano contested and won in the annual Fête de la Musique music competition at the French Cultural Centre, while studying French.

He has remained an active member in the group and played a key role in the creation of Sauti Sol's two albums; Mwanzo (2008) and Sol Filosofia (2011). 

The renowned group has received a number of awards and nominations from; Kisima Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, BET Awards among many others.
