Speaking at Ngwata Primary school on Tuesday, Makau said that Mutua should respect Kalonzo as his senor in politics.

"Kalonzo is our leader respect him, you have a long way to go," said Makau.

He urged the governor to concentrate on his work in the county and cease politicking.

He said that many roads in the county are impassable despite the governor's "chest-thumping" about development.

Makau spoke after commissioning four classrooms at the school.

He disclosed that Sh38 million for bursaries meant to cushion parents paying fees for their kids.

He said that the forms will be issued on a first-come first-serve basis.

"The fund has been fairly distributed to needy, orphans and vulnerable students in all wards in Mavoko depending on the number of the children and level of need in each ward," he said.

He urged parents to ensure they take their children to school as education is the best gift a parent can give his/her kid.
