Through an exclusive interview on Citizen TV on Friday at his Opoda farm, Raila said the deputy president had been hosting crowds in his home, slaughtering chicken and dishing out millions of shillings from unexplained wealth.

However, through his Facebook page on Saturday, Sudi an ally of deputy president, lashed out at Raila claiming he uses over Sh50 million on his trips to Nigeria which instead can be used to feed his people.

“Raila spends over 50M on a single trip to Nigeria, the same 50M can be used to host, feed and transport 75% of the Nyanza population. He goes to West Africa five times in a year making him spend over 250M in a year.” said the Kapseret MP second time MP.

During the citizen exclusive interview Raila called for a lifestyle audit done on the deputy president to determine his source of wealth.

“Such a huge amount of money could have been used to build churches, fundraiser, and fund other projects but he has his way of spending. Tunamjua sana huyu Mzee,” Sudi added.

Several leaders allied to the DP have criticized Raila's remarks on Ruto, Murkomen going ahead to say that if there was no respect for number two in the country then the position needed not to exist at all.

Through his Twitter account, the Senate Majority Leader went ahead to claim that BBI was all about making sure Ruto leaves office.
