In an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday, Wetangula said that he is yet to hear any group of persons opposed to the BBI recommendations so far.

The senator said that he will be attending the rallies for the popularization of the report, adding that there is need to rethink about the process of implementing the proposals of the report right from the word go.

“I have not heard of people opposing BBI. We should be spending time on how to implement BBI recommendations…Let BBI unite us. I will attend future BBI rallies…” he said in part.

The lawmaker said that he has already shared his mind on the recommendations of the report, adding that his party, Ford Kenya has equally done the same.

"I have given my views before the BBI taskforce. My party has done the same," he added.

Wetangula noted that he has been supportive of the recommendations of the report from the start, adding that there is the need to adopt a report that will resolve challenges facing Kenyans.

Some of the challenges he outlined include corruption, electoral malpractices and historical land injustices the country has suffered since independence.
