City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has reacted to the sacking of Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the lawyer expressed his joy at the sacking of the outspoken CS.
According to Kipkorir, the CS ranks as the worst in the history of Kenya.
He urged Kiunjuri to now focus his energy on supporting the presidential bid of the Deputy President Dr William Ruto.
"Congratulations President Uhuru Kenyatta for finally SACKING Mwangi Kiunjuri .... He was the worst Minister in Kenya’s History ... He can now go focus on being Deputy President in 2022 in Alice Wonderland," the lawyer said.
Kiunjuri's sacking comes on the back of concerns from a section of Kenyans that he was engaging in politics instead of working.
His public pronouncements on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) were seen by scores of Kenyans as disrespect to the head of state.
The CS was often a target of politicians allied to ODM who accused him of sabotaging the BBI process.
Political commentators see the move by the president to sack Kiunjuri as punishment for engaging in politics.
