Singer Stevo Simple Boy who has been trending in the recent days for his song ‘Vijana tuache mihadarati’ will now be working with the National Agency for the Campaign against Drug Abuse (NACADA).
This is according to the news shared by the NACADA director and TV presenter Chipukeezy on his Instagram page.
“Introducing CEO NACADA to MR Stevo simple Boy youths let’s stop using drugs (vijana Tuwache mihadharati)...We are going to work with him,” Chipukeezy wrote on Instagram.
The announcement comes at a time when the singer is trending on Social Media after he was featured on The Chipukeezy Show.
A short Instagram video shared by Chipukeezy who is also a comedian shows the artist in the office of the CEO of NACADA.
In his song ‘Mihadarati’ which premiered on YouTube in 2017, Stevo Simple Boy advises youths to stop using drugs. He goes ahead to outline the negative consequences of using drugs including being unhealthy and unemployed.
His approach to fighting drug abuse in society is what may have attracted the attention of NACADA.
Netizens have however recreated the song to create funny memes and parody videos making the song to go viral.
