State House Digital Innovation Secretary Dennis Itumbi has lashed out at a section of handlers in the Office of the President, arguing that they will suffer 'similar' fate.
For weeks now, DP William Ruto's supporters have been accusing operatives at the Office of the President of allegedly undermining the DP, especially during state functions.
Last week, Interior PS Karanja Kibicho was accused of humiliating Ruto during Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report launch at Bomas of Kenya.
Itumbi, who was thrown out of the podium last week, said the team at Harambee House will 'always suffer a similar fate like previous occupants'.
"#HarambeeHousePrefects have always been there. In one of his best articles, @EricNgeno called them, Parallel State. Their fate is the same, through the years. Google each name and underline the similarity," he said in a tweet.
Kibicho has been often accused of plotting against the DP and his allies, a claim which he has often dismissed as propaganda.
On Friday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i defended Kibicho, arguing that they usually execute orders from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“We only have one point of command in this country, and that is the president. Have you ever heard of a house with two masters? We are working for Uhuru and whatever he tells us to do with Kibicho, we will always do,” Matiang'i was quoted by Standard.
Dr Ruto on Sunday seemingly accused the CS of arbitrarily executing orders by dragging the name of the president unnecessarily.
