Women nowadays are buying the idea of fixing artificial nails on top of their natural ones. Most of them do it for beauty, fashion and change of lifestyle.
Women with long fingernails encounter several challenges as they engage in their day to day activities.

1. Taking part in cleaning chores
Women with long nails will tell you how hard they find it to take part in either cleaning the house, washing clothes or even the utensils. Wearing gloves is so weird since the hands do not fit and can result in the nails breaking or even damaging the gloves.
2. Typing on the keyboard
Long fingernails can be a challenge when typing either on the phone or on a computer. Most of the women with long nails use the tip of the fingers which makes them uncomfortable. They also tend to press the wrong keys.
3. Gripping on things becomes so hard
Women with long nails find it challenging to grip on things. They must be so keen to push their fingers against what they want to clutch otherwise they will end up breaking the nails. Some even find it hard to hold a pen and thus they have to employ a new way of holding them.
4. Inserting earrings on their ears
Women who have long nails struggle to put on earrings especially when they are tiny. Most end requesting for help from a friend, choosing bigger earrings or even going out without them.
