In a recorded analysis on Saturday, the commentator took issue with some of the leaders who appeared to be threatening Kenyans and other leaders over the push.

He suggested that some of the leaders backing the push, some of whom want it to culminate into a referendum, are being too much in their bid to have Kenyans behind it.

"Yesterday in Kisii, wapende wasipende (whether you like it or not), the train has left the station, which station?" he posed in the analysis posted on his Take It or Leave It channel.

According to him, such remarks are unnecessary as the BBI debate remains a Kenyan issue, which cannot leave the station for another destination.

He also advised that the push should remain a belonging of the citizens and should be used to unite them, which, according to him, should be the real intention behind it.

"The BBI belongs to Kenyans, to help Kenyans fix their problems. It cannot be used to divide Kenyans," he added.

The forum, which brought together leaders from across the 6 counties of Nyanza, was presided over by ODM leader Raila Odinga and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i.
