At least 34 people have been confirmed dead after a Nairobi-bound bus rammed into a trick at Migaa along the Salgaa stretch.

The accident occured at 3:30am Sunday.

The truck was heading to Eldoret while the bus was on its way to Nairobi.

Witnesses said 30 people died on the spot.
