The second term governor was missing in action at Supreme Court where a number of governors protested over the Divisions of Revenue Allocation Bill.

Leader of Majority Duke Masira, in a phone conversation on Monday said the county government had secured an investor who will work on renewable energy.

"We had a successful trip to Thailand where we met various investors. Soon we shall have an investor setting renewable energy project in our county.

"The governor and three others will jet in tonight. It's only a few of us who came in through an early flight. We are really interested in the renewable energy and we are happy with the progress," he said.

Others in the delegation were Speaker Moffat Teya, PA to governor Samuel Abuga, ministers John Omanwa, Douglas Bosire and Peter Muga.

The governor jets in amid anxiety over recruitment of Chief Officers. For over one year, the county has been running without substantive Chief Officers.

Last week, Nyagarama witnessed swearing in of new County Public Service Board members who will be serving for a non renewable 6 years in office.
