In an interview at NTV on Tuesday, Herman said that he really doubt whether the orders from above actually really come from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He went on defending Uhuru saying that, to prove that orders from above do not come from Uhuru, the scenario of Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria spending a night behind is something small that is beyond the president.

"It is in the nature of high office that sometimes many things happen that you don’t know. I doubt it is Pres. Uhuru who is ordering police to do small things like keeping Moses Kuria in Kilimani station…those are beyond the president," Herman Manyora said.

This following a series of action where most especially court orders have been defied, the reason being 'orders from above'.

For instance, when MP Moses Kuria was arrested on Friday last week, those that presented the court orders demanding for his release were told that the final say comes from 'orders from above'.

Also, during the event of DP Ruto being locked out of his official residence in Mombasa while on tour, it was rumoured that the actions were taking place following an order from above.
