In a tweet, Miguna said that both Joho and Samboja hold fake certificates but they are still in office. He questioned why the office of the DPP is yet to take any action against the county bosses even after their universities disowned their degrees.

Miguna said that time has come for the DPP to walk the talk to ensure that Kenya is better.

“Kenyatta University declared Granton Samboja's purported degree certificate fake. The @EACCKenya charged him with fraud and violation of Chapter 6. When is he being removed? How about @HassanAliJoho and his fake Kampala University degree? Any charges?’ he tweeted.

The remarks come after it emerged that Haji is pushing for the county bosses to leave office immediately they are accused of graft charges. Haji has announced a crackdown on the governors linked to graft.

He has, however, remained coy on who will be charged over corruption next after Kiambu Governor Ferdinard Waituti was denied access to his office after he was linked to the loss of funds in Sh.588 million in a tender award.

“That is my secret. If I tell you, those people will start scheming against us,” he said, as quoted by Daily Nation.
