Ex-Mukurweini MP Kabando Wa Kabando has asked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Amolo Odinga to issue a statement on Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino alleged shooting of a DJ at a night club.
In a series of tweets on Friday, Kabando said that the incident is unfortunate, adding that it is high time the ODM Leader should condemn such incidences in the society.
"On this grave Babu Owino matter, the country deserves an immediate statement from @TheODMparty. My friend @RailaOdinga, dewhip the MP NOW. Show the country you're wholly intolerant to impunity, that you care. Disapprove critics that you protect allies criminal. @edwinsifuna," he said.
Kabando said that if he is a supporter of the opposition leader, adding that it is important for him to issue a statement on the matter. He also said that if we do not condemn incidents of drug abuse, graft and impunity.
"If we don't without prejudice lobby and pressure for action on drug barons, graft merchants and drivers of impunity, this country won't be worth living in soon. Those like me who love Raila are always hard-pressed to explain how clearly culpable ones - incl Governors - circuit," he said in another tweet.
