Ruaraka Member of Parliament Tom Kajwang has assured President Uhuru Kenyatta of the unwavering support of leaders allied to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
ODM politicians have been in support of the President since March last year, when the party leader and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga reached to reached a truce with Uhuru.
Speaking in the company of 10 other MPs who attended a mass at the Reru Catholic Church in Seme, Kisumu County, the MP said that they group is tired of the the opposition.
"We want to re-assure President Uhuru Kenyatta that we are tired of opposition and we are firmly behind him and in Government to stay," he said.
Nyando MP Jared Okello bashed Deputy President William Ruto who had been appearing alerted since Raila's union with the President, telling him to he calm.
He told the DP to cease blaming ODM for his political woes, noting that the party had bigger goals than taking his position ad he night be thinking.
"We want to tell Ruto that we are focused on bigger things and do not need his job. So let him stop crying wolf. Handshake team is not an impediment to his work," he said.
Other MPs who were present were Eve Obara (Kabondo Kasipul), James Nyikal (Seme), Martin Owino (Ndiwa), Peter Masara (Suna West) and Peter Kaluma (Homa Bay Town).
Others were Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Rosa Buyu (Kisumu County) and nominated MP Jackline Oduol.Mr Masara observed that the trice saved the nation from slipping into anarchy.
