The Kenya Meteorological Department has told Kenyans to brace for more rainfall in the coming days, especially between November 12 and 18.
According to the Meteorological Department, the nation will experience varying rainfall patterns, with the rain intensity expected to reduce at the end of the forecast.
According Stella Aura who is a director at the Meteorological Department, parts of Kisumu, Baringo, Vihiga, Kakamega, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Kisii and Nyamira will experience occasional morning rains.
She said that this will also affect Homa Bay and Migori counties with sunny mornings and afternoons and evening showers accompanied by thunderstorms.
"The mornings are likely to be mainly sunny," she said adding that in Turkana, Samburu and West Pokot, there will be sunny days and cloudy nights.
She said that counties in North Eastern parts of Kenya and Lower Eastern region (Ukambani) and Kajiado and Taita Taveta will witness morning and afternoon rains.
In Nairobi and counties surrounding the Mt Kenya region, the weatherman says that locals are likely to experience morning rains and sunny intervals.
"Cloudy conditions that break into sunny intervals are likely to occur towards the end of the forecast period," she added.
In Mombasa, Lamu, Kilifi, Tana River and Kwale, she predicted morning and early afternoon showers between Tuesday and Friday.
