A two-year-old boy who went missing in Mlolongo, Mavoko sub-county in Machakos county on Saturday was on Sunday found.
The boy, Daniel Mutua who went missing under unclear circumstances was found a few kilometres from their home.
According to Ann Rita Mutheu (the boy's mother), he (boy) was spotted by bodaboda operators near mulleys supermarket where they took him to a nearest children's home.
"We had informed Musyi FM about the incident. I guess the bodaboda guys heard Musyi FM announcing his disappearance," Mutheu told Hivisasa
"They took him to a children's home and that's how we found him. I want to thank everyone for helping us," she added.
She said that the boy spent the night in the children's home where they later went and picked him the following day after they got information about his whereabouts.
The incident comes a few days after yet another child went missing in the same area.The girl was rescued in Machakos town where a suspect who is believed to have "stolen" the child was arrested.
Immaculate Mwende,3_years_old was allegedly stolen outside their house in Mavoko sub-county in Machakos.
The suspect was arrested in Machakos after women rescued the girl from her.
