In a Facebook post, Murathe said that the cancelation of Ruto's planned tour to Murang'a shows that all is not well.

He said that Ruto has just realized he is entering President Uhuru Kenyatta's territory and he cannot do it alone.

He added that Uhuru remains the head of state no matter what is happening in Jubilee.

"For a very long time, I have warned William Ruto against trying to outshine His Excellency the President. Canceling of Murang'a visit should send a good message to others who think we are joking. Uhuru is the head of state. He's not alone, we are behind him. He's not an individual, he's the system. Hapa ndio bedroom," he posted.

Murathe has been claiming that Ruto stands no chance of becoming the President, once alluding that he is ready to support Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga rise to power if President Kenyatta asks him to do so.

He believes Ruto is unfit to become President because of the endless sagas he has been linked to since he entered government. Murathe also vowed to ensure Ruto doesn't ascend to power by all means.
