Speaking to Bongo 5, Tale pointed out that they did not want the rain to interfere with the event which saw west African musician Tiwa Savage and Wizkid perform in Tanzania on Saturday.

"We are trying to call witch doctors to stop rain on Saturday. If you see anyone going to witchdoctors, they have really overthought. They have failed to see that their prayers to God will help them.

(Nikuambie, hapa tulipo tunaangaika kupigia simu waganga kuzuia mvua jumamosi. Kwa hivyo anatoka nje ya box)," Babu Tale stated as quoted by The Star.

The manager further pointed out that Diamond's success stems from the fact that he is a risk taker who is never afraid of investing.

"Diamond is daring. He is a risk-taker. He invests a lot of money in his projects without fear cause there is no business without investment. (Diamond ni mtu wa kuthubutu. Yeye ni risk-taker. Anaweka pesa kwenye project yake bila kuogopa. Hakuna biashara bila kuekeza)," Babu Tale said.

Wasafi Festival Nairobi edition took place in December 2018 where Diamond together with musicians signed under his WCB record label entertained their Kenyan fans.

Diamond Platnumz enjoys a huge fan base in Kenya especially owing to the fact that he is engaged to Kenyan radio presenter cum musician Tanasha Donna with whom he has a child.

He has also worked with Kenyan artistes such as Akothee.
