Former Bumula Member of Parliament Bifwoli has made a passionate appeal to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President Dr William Ruto and veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking exclusively on K24 on Monday, the former legislator appealed to the three national leaders to visit his local mud-walled church and make donations so that it can be upgraded.
"I want to take this opportunity to appeal to my friends his Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, the Deputy President William Ruto and my friend Raila Odinga to come and pray with us and donate to us.
"(Mimi nataka nichukue nafasi hii kuwahimiza marafiki zangu mweshimiwa Rais Uhuru Kenyatta, mweshimiwa Naibu wa Rais William Ruto na mweshimiwa, rafiki yangu Mweshimiwa Raila Odinga na wengine siku ingine wakuje tuombee nao watuchangie), " the former MP said.
Mr Wakoli is a staunch Catholic faithful who religiously attends church.
At the church, which is in dire need of upgrading, he does not receive preferential treatment in spite of his social standing.
He says he is just an ordinary Kenyan who is not different to other churchgoers.
The MP, who served as an assistant minister in the Kibaki administration, could have chosen to attend a more 'decent' church but chose to be attending his local mud-walled church.
