Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has launched a scathing attack against the TangaTanga over Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rallies.
In a series of tweets on Monday, Kipkorir said that the allies of Deputy President WIlliam Ruto have not been keen on fighting graft even as they claim to fight for a better society.
Kipkorir said that the leaders have opted to avoid critical issues in government at the expense of development. He said that the Ruto's camp never attempted to talk anything about graft when they met in Naivasha.
".. TangaTanga in its Resolutions is giving every vulnerable group money but I’d not telling us how to make the money .... Their loud silence on Corruption is telling ... They didn’t even attempt to discuss it ... This is a group that is openly lying to the most suffering," he tweeted.
He noted that the leaders had gone for a retreat only to lie to Kenyans that they were discussing BBI recommendations. He further said that the resolutions are nothing but a pack of lies.
"Naivasha TangaTanga Rally Was a Holiday Retreat:1. President has disowned the meeting & its resolutions.2. Purported resolutions are pack of lies eg. current budgetary allocation to Judiciary is less than Kshs. 15B ... TangaTanga wants to make it Kshs. 105B," he said in another tweet.
